Dear Parents and Guardians,
All of the 1st - 8th grade St. Damian students can enhance their math skills by using Mathletics. Mathletics is designed to provide students with an interesting and fun learning experience. The content is structured and aligned to the standards, provides interactive support, and allows the students to play engaging games with rewards. Your child’s login and password were sent home this week. Please encourage your child to work at home on the site to strengthen and build their math skills.
Thank you for all that you do!

Are you looking for some fun Valentine's Day themed STEM projects to do with your child? Check out this website....it has some amazing activities! https://littlebinsforlittlehands.com/valentines-day-physics-activities-experiments/
Many parents and students have asked what are some safe search engines available for children to use when researching on the internet.
Below are a few search engines that are safe and narrow searches down to make searching easier.
kiddle.co: Has large thumbnails and fonts for easy reading. It uses .co instead of .com because co stands for children only.
KidRex.org: Uses Google Custom Search and Safe Search to eliminate most inappropriate material.
KidsClick.org: Designed for kids by librarians and has a great category search.
